Lucas
Lucas is a hot headed keeper who finds it fun to toy with the players, whom he considers to be inferior beings. At the start of battles, Lucas likes to emerge from his shadow, using it as a sort of portal or gateway to go in and out of games and torment his victims.His shadow is able to take several forms. When in its neutral state, it is constantly moving beneath his feet, like rippling water, never maintaining a constant shape of a normal shadow. The most frequent form that it possesses is the shape of a rabid beast. The only limit to the shapes and forms his shadow can take is Lucas’s own imagination.

Ki
Ki's silhouette takes the shape of a scorpion. despite her small size, she exudes a dangerous aura that even other keepers fear. she has a corset piercing on her back, the rings of which can expand into the scorpion legs when she enters the battle room. Outside of battle, the metal claws on her fingers bear the appearance of rings on her fingers. The blades on her legs and claws are very sharp, and sometimes she digs them into walls so that she can travel along the battle room ceiling and walls like an insect.her hair floats as if it exists on a plane of its own without gravity. she is a misandrist who only shows mercy to girl players.. only sometimes. she seems to have a deep rooted grudge against men.
James (李 - Li)A shape shifting hulijing/fox spirit whose primary objective is to cause trouble. he is smitten with another hulijing who was captured by the kingdom and bound to a demon hunter. his true intention is to free her. his primary job is to gain information and spread discourse and propaganda.
Zenith (武尊 - Võ/Wu Zun)Army General from the Wu (武) family and descendent of a long line of military leaders. his stern look gives him an intense air of unquestionable authority and natural leadership. his only companion is his cousin, from the exorcist branch, the Fu (祓) family, as their pedigree and general demeanor isolate them from others. For the first time in his life, one of his soldiers continuously challenges him, making his strict and rigid life a little more interesting.
Nhi (梁佳麗 - Lương/Liang Jia Li)She is the hidden daughter of a politician, who is rumored to be hard of hearing and mute. These rumors are spread by her father, so that courtesans freely gossip around her with the false security that their secret is kept. she spends her days picking flowers and herbs and creating elixers and poisons. she has a secret connection to the brothels, where she provides poisons to the ladies of the night to kill political opponents who frequent the red light district.
Lucas (明 - Minh/Ming)an orphan who was abandoned in the mountains and raised in the wild. he cannot read or write and shows very little interest in education. he is discovered by a demon hunter and recruited after showing potential to become an exorcist. he obliges only because he gets free food and lodging, but eventually grows attached to his mentor and genuinely wants to succeed, as his mentor has no successors to his dying bloodline.
Prince (文美 - Văn Mỹ/Wen Mei)he is the current emperor, though the legitimacy of his claim is uncertain. he was the son of the lowest concubine whose half-siblings and successors mysteriously died before being able to lay claim to the throne. his rise to power was assisted by the Wu (武) family, whose patriarch favored his kind mother. he is aware of the rumors surrounding his ill-gotten crown, but what he plans to do about it is hidden behind his sly smile.
Maria (忍 - ren)a crane spirit who was shot by a hunter and discovered in her human form by a kind merchant boy. she fell in love with him and chose to stay and marry. Now, she helps him weave the finest silk to aid in his textile business and the two lovebirds travel around the kingdom in blissful happiness.
Tien (何仙 - Hồ tiên) & Elijah (何福 - Hồ Phúc)The first (elder) brother is a promising scholar and aspiring strategist who is cursed by his twin (younger), the later whom is immensely lacking in intelligence. The eldest is diligent, kind, and very talented at reading people. The second is boorish and shows zero interest in furthering his poor excuse of an education. Despite his failures at scholarly pursuits, he has a surprisingly sharp wit and tongue. The only true talent he shows is in archery, and thus he becomes recruited into the army.
Ki (雪 - tuyết/Xue)she is a snake demon whose current purpose in life is to seek revenge for the murder of her love. she hunts the exorcist responsible and terrorizes the villages he passes through, causing word to spread quickly that he is bad luck. in human form, she seduces men who easily fall prey, killing and leaving chaos in her wake.

Their front is a liquor store, but where their real business is, is in illegal gambling and flipping car parts won in races from their opponents, as a majority of the time they like to race for pinks to raise the stakes.
Zenithtop driver of the red gang. he drives a white nissan nismo with red rims. he finds little enjoyment in life, though he lives recklessly trying to find it and mainly coasts along. He never participates in the shit talking that goes on between gangs, instead prefering to floor other racers without a word. he ropes his older cousin into joining the red gang and feels immense guilt for the accident which caused jasper to lose his arm. recently he's seemed to take an interest in a member of the rival blue gang, nico.
Tien & ** Elijah**twins who drive matching evos (white and black, respectively with gold rims). tien is smart, but not good at smack talking, where as eli is dumb as a sack of rocks but an expert at pressing the buttons of the blue crew. tien often gets dragged into the fights his brother starts. when eli races, he races for pinks but only takes the wheels of the losers car, leaving them stranded with a non-functioning vehicle just to be an asshole.
LucasBigger and louder is better, as far as he's concerned. he drives a blacked out demon and makes sure his car is so loud he can feel the engine rev in his soul. like his other hot-headed crew member, eli, lucas often gets himself into fights, most times over something trivial or sometimes over almost nothing at all.
Their business is a tattoo parlor and adjacent bar. They are constantly at odds with the red gang in a turf war.
Jameshe's a socialite with a endless money, a violent temper and a jealous streak. he has a turbulent relationship with the hottest babe in the gang, seong lim, often breaking up and getting back together again like there is no tomorrow. He drives a flashy gold wrapped mazda rx9 and basks in the attention he gets.
Nhi
despite her height, she has a big attitude and is fiercely loyal to her gang. she drives races a white minicooper with pink details. her best friend is tattoo artist, chika and she does the most shit talking for her crew when it comes to confrontations with the red gang.
Kishe owns a nightclub that is considered neutral territory and is one of two places where neither gang is allowed to start a fight. she is terrifying and has a murderous aura, as rumors have it she killed her former boss. this woman loves two things, and they are money and power. if money can't solve your problem, that means you don't have enough of it.
Mariaa dedicated mechanic and avid car fan, who owns the second neutral territory, a car shop. she maintains and enhances the cars of both gangs, having no loyalty to either crew. having said that, she absolutely refuses sabotage, despite being pestered about it. she has feelings for jae, who was in love with his brother's fiance, both of whom were killed in an accident.

Zenith(K-9 Bomb Squad)very stern looking officer who has the friendliest partner, admiral (the best boy). he is often misunderstood and never approached for help because of his sullen looking expression but often goes out of his way to help people with menial things. His RBF is very intimidating and often makes people feel like they did something wrong even if they haven't. rumors have started that he has the ability to make you confess to your crimes just by looking at you silently.
James(Homicide Detective)suave detective who is very dedicated to every case he leads. sometimes the things he does to find the truth are borderline questionable, but technically not illegal. he was an aspiring lawyer who never took the bar, as that career was his parents dream which he eventually abandoned. he often flirts to get information from witnesses and bystanders, which his rookie partner finds repulsive, but hey, it gets the job done.
Maria(Forensics)she's very cold, as the nature of this job has forced her to become detached to cope with how fragile life can be. her bed-side manner is very poor, being that she can only provide hard facts and results, which is often not comforting to the families of the victims.
Lucas(S.W.A.T. Team)He used to get in trouble and became familiar with the station as he was brought in a lot in his youth for being a degenerate. he essentially joined out of spite because someone told him he couldn't do it, and his whole career is just a big F U to that person.
Nhi(Investigative Journalist)She is an extremely ambitious journalist, to the point of often jeopardizing her own safety just to get the scoop. she has no remorse and often finds herself in trouble, so she has made quite a name for herself. she often accidentally becomes a hostage, just to get an interview with the perpetrators and pick their brains.
Tien(EMT) & ** Eli**(Traffic Officer)Tien is a kind soul who excels at comforting people even in the most dire situations. he often keeps in touch with the people he helps and is remembered by most. he is very popular and often has people stop by to give him gifts as a thank you for going above and beyond his general duty.His brother, Eli, is crude and does traffic duty. He writes tickets, most of which are parking violations and is petty enough to actually show up when someone tries to contest the ticket because he has nothing better to do. He often gets mistaken for his twin brother, which confuses many citizens who often stop by and are taken aback by the stark difference in their demeanors.

Zenith transferred to milizia in the second year (junior) to the combat division. at milizia, he makes his first and best friend, nico (senior, navy division). as they graduate at different times and the reality of their careers forces them to part, they make a promise to see each other again.
Active_Duty (S. Korea)
by fate, zenith and nico are both stationed for active duty at the same base. their friendship strengthens and naturally turns into deep love for one another over the years. just before ending active duty with plans to transition to civilian life and get married, nico is killed in action, leaving zenith on his own.
Bird_Cage
after nico's death, zenith spirals as he fails to cope with the loss. He is required to report in for a mental health evaluation and catches the attention of maria guiffre-baek who acquires his information. he defects from the military after being recruited by mockingbird, abandoning his life in search of anything to numb the pain of losing nico. the only things he has from his past are nico's dog tags and their set of wedding bands, as well as their dog, Admiral. zenith wears his on his left hand and keeps nico's ring with his dog tags.
unbeknownst to him, nico's sister has connections to the bird cage and managed to bring her brother back under the secretive project g.h.o.s.t. as REV-1, without any memories of zenith.After undergoing one year of physicals, Zenith becomes Maria's human trial in her search of finding a permanent power source for enhanced prosthetics. He displayed signs of side effects 8 months in, which becomes accelerated the more he uses his sniper eye. This information instigates the creation of synthesized ferrofluid for project g.h.o.s.t. lead by Canary. Unaware that he is a liability to the secret project, a hit is ordered on Zenith deploying REV-1.
Rev-1 fails to finish the job, leaving zenith in shock as he disappears once again. Following the chaos, an insurgence was lead by Oriole resulting in the termination of Canary. Under a new handler, Rev-1 gets transferred to birdcage and has since retaken his name, nico, though he struggles to reconnect with his identity and imposter syndrome, as he feels he is not the same person zenith loves.

James continues his father's relationship with the birdcage by exclusively working for prince, though he is technically a free agent. he uses his influence and social status to get into exclusive events, often to gain access to elite individuals. he has a flirtatious encounter with a canary agent, seong lim, when a hit gets double booked, resulting in james eliminating the shared target and the two of them starting an casual and passionate affair.
in the years following, james is paired up with seong on numerous covert missions and the line between their fake couple cover and reality starts to blur. james plays games with real emotions and his pride is too great for him to admit that he loves seong, as he views it as an admission of weakness. this ultimately causes a falling out between them and seong leaves without saying goodbye after oriole sets her free from the underworld. james is left devastated and without any closure, as seong takes on a new identity and life.james meets her again as vivianne xu, wife of raymond lai who is the heir to hamada motors and the son of a long time family friend.

Eli's_Return
As Tien had hoped, Eli had managed to escape, though he had to maintain being on the run. After living under the radar for a few years, Eli returns to the birdcage after sabotaging a competing organization's supply chain. He uses that as leverage to retrieve Tien, as their debt is almost paid off with this move. However, as Tien had developed dissociative identity disorder from manifesting Eli as an alter to cope with Eli's absence (or presumed death), he now believes that he is the real Eli and Eli is an imposter.With Tien believing that Eli has stolen his identity, he attacks his brother and has been restrained. Eli works out a deal with Prince to keep Tien alive and taken care of. The burden of his brother's care is added to their existing debt. Eli cuts his hair in order to change his appearance so that for the first time ever, the twins do not look exactly the same.

Prince is the youngest child of the mockingbird mistress. Upon his early retirement, his father, the holder of the mockingbird title, declared a turf war to determine the child most worthy to inherit the mockingbird name and assets.
With an already deep rooted hatred between them, the siblings opted to eliminate each other to gain territory. Prince remains the last one standing, though not on his own terms. He eliminates his oldest brother with the help of london jiang but suffers from an unsatisfactory victory as it is unclear whether or not Vincent let him win.

upon inheriting the title, prince joins the ranks of the emperors of vietnam alongside Sparrow and Peafowl.
he has a blood pact with london jiang, who enters the birdcage as woodpecker. his brother's widow currently targets london, set upon her revenge to ensure that prince feels the same loss she suffered.
